It's Tricky to Rock a Rhyme, to Rock a Rhyme That's on Time, It's Tricky, Tricky, Tricky...

I can't help but laugh any time I hear this song because I think of the movie
"White Chicks" with the Wayan brothers and the scene where they are dancing to
this song! Makes me wana get up and get silly! Anywayysss, so what to wear
these days can get tricky ;) The sun is still very warm during the
day but when you wake up in the morning the air is still cool!
Same with the evening, so my easy fix is something like my look here.
Long pant, with a cropped, sleeveless or both top, light summery shoe but not
necessarily open toe, beachy hair and a bright lipstick and you've got yourself
a transitional and functional outfit! Toy around with your own long pants and tanks
for a killer combo. Try it with a long sleeve and shorts or skirt as well!

Tee- Vintage, Distressed Boyfriend Jeans- CarMar, Clear Sided Flat-
Jeffrey Campbell, Ombre Glasses- no name (yes I need them to see),
Beach Waves- Spritz damp hair with "Not Your Mother's:
Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray"
into top knot leave for half hour to hour take down & hair spray,
Lips- Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch

"Mami, you miss me, don’t you?...I'm Back by Popular Demand..."

I'm back and I wanted to try a little something new. I am working about 8 billion projects right now and sometimes I cant always get to taking pictures of outfits we are wearing. Which is sad because you're missing a lot of good ones.

So, I have been checking out some blogs and Insta's myself and seeing a lot of Fall inspirations and so I thought I would share them all with you. That time is closer than we think and it is my job to remind you. Fall and winter fashion literally make me the happiest gal.

I was particularly smitten with Jess Albla's street savvy yet refined even sometimes borderline preppy style (shocker, she's gorge and perfect). I tried to pick a range of styles that are everything from easy to wear for anyone no matter what your body type is, to probably outside of your normal everyday clothes or comfort zone. BUT if there ever was a season this is the one to push that envelope!! The outfits with denim, tees and boots or sneaks, are most likely close enough to something you already own and have in the closet and you can create a similar look ORRRR it at least gives you an idea of what you need to get as staples for the season that you don't already have. Especially where you are seeing repetition. My fav is the plaid pants for a updated casz look!!! Like LOVE! My lust outfit, in other words makes me want to make up somewhere special to go just to wear it, is the pant suit look with the crop top!! I was confident that the crop top could be transitioned into the fall, even winter! Personally I like the look with crop better for the fall so far. Its more sophisticated yet still fun!! Phewwww bc I'm still obsessed!

Hope you're as inspired as me!! xoxo

I got that bird flu fr-from that GREY goose..

Grey on Grey!? Why not?! Mixing up dressy with casual is one of my
favorite things to do! I mean I don't take myself that seriously...to wear
this midi pencil skirt with a blouse. Plus, it's what's expected. I'd rather go
with the unexpected always. It's more fun that way.

Tank- Urban Outfitters, Midi Pencil Skirt- Forever 21, Two chains (lol)- LF, Shoes-
Jeffrey Campbell, Feather hair clip- who knows?

Hair- 1.pony  2.pull one piece out and braid (clip until ready to wrap)
3. sock bun it up  4.wrap braided hair around base of bun loosely and bobby pin
ends in  5.pin anywhere else needed  6.spray with hair spray
This gives you such an elegant, polished look and it's sooo easy and quick!
Perfect for bad hair days or going from work to dinner!

Pour some smoothie for me...

So I pretty much had no choice but to go as much all naturale as possible yesterday, while helping out at the Bozrah, CT farmers market. My parents have a smoothie business called Raw Youniverse, they educate about and sell their all organic and raw (not cooked) fruit smoothies! It had just rained and it was on the cooler side for a typical July summer day so I thought...it's a jeans and tee kinda day! So I picked a ripped up skinny and one of my Raw Youniverse tees, cut it up some to style it up, paired it with some classic black ankle biker boots and I was almost smoothie ready. It being not so great hair weather, I threw on my bandana for functionality and to accessorize of course. I kept on my simple collar length chain and my everyday arm and finger party and decided it was a no makeup day...eeeeek!? JK,  my outfit was farmer fashionable and more importantanly comfortable and practical for hanging with some hippie farmers! It was a great day! ;)

Denim- Forever21 (distressed by me), Tee- Raw You-niverse, Arm Party- collected over the years various places, Bandana- just had forever, Boots- MIA
